No matter what time of year you travel, the Mammoth Cave Railroad Bike & Hike Trail offers outdoor adventure for you and your family. From seasonal wildflowers to wildlife watching, there is so much to explore on our trails.
The ruins at Bell's tavern tell a unique story of travelers long ago. The original Tavern burned and new construction of the tavern was interrupted by the Civil War. The Tavern was never reconstructed, come explore the ruins of Bell's Tavern.
Historic cemetery located beside the Bell's Tavern Ruins (Hwy 255). This Family cemetery contains headstones dating back to 1843, when travelers came for Cave Adventure. Come explore some of the family names listed; Bell, Easton, Gardner, Peddicord, Proctor, Whitney and Morgan.
Bell's Tavern Park features gazebos sprinkled along our walking trails, the park features children's playgrounds & a covered Pavilion with a stage, picnic tables, restrooms, a bicycle repair station and bike racks added for locals and travelers. Lots of Bike Parking! Bell's Tavern park is the Official Trailhead for the Mammoth Cave Railroad Bike & Hike Trail.

Park City Community Veteran's Memorial is located at 24122 Louisville Rd (31W) in Park City. Dedicated on Memorial Day May 30th, 2004 this Memorial honors Veterans who served in all branches of the Military. The site includes a wall of honor with names of local veterans who served etched upon each brick, a flag, a plaque and a sitting area with two benches.

Diamond Caverns was discovered in 1859, electric lights were first installed in in 1917. Of course all of the lighting has been updated with state-of-the-art lighting. Mammoth Cave Ky area has an abundance of wildlife. In addition to wildlife viewing, driving near the park or traveling along the miles of trails in the park you may see prairie wildflowers and seasonal native grasses. Be aware, depending on what time of year you visit, you never know what type of wildlife you may see while exploring!
Mammoth Cave Visitor's Center is the hub of park activity, including Park & Cave Tour ticket purchase information. Gift shops with unique items, t-shirts and souvenirs are also located at the visitor's center.
The Lodge at Mammoth Cave currently under renovation and will be opening soon offering lodging, a cafe and a restaurant. The Lodge is located directly next to the visitor center, and features a mix of modern hotel rooms as well as historic cottages nestled in a woodland setting. The Lodge is within walking distance to park trails.
